Yesterday, I had the chance to preview 5 great single-family homes currently on the market in Irvine, California. I was able to snap quick photos of 4 of them to share. Currently, the average listing price in Irvine for single-family homes is approximately $880,000.
Irvine is a beautiful place to live and was ranked by CNN money in 2012 as the number 6 best city to live in the entire United States! Irvine is known for its award-winning school district (Irvine Unified School District - IUSD) and its many parks. Although my work is primarily based in Los Angeles, I grew up in Irvine and often visit my parents there so I know all about the housing, schools, shopping, dining, and pretty much anything you might want to know about the city!
This first property is an updated single level home in Northwood with an expanded family room adding over 250 sq feet and an upgraded kitchen with an added center island. The 3 bed, 2 bath home features beautiful granite counters, custom two tone paints, a walk in closet with custom organizers, and a gazebo in the backyard. The garage has a customized laundry area with extra built-in cabinets for storage. There is no HOA fee or mello-roos, which is rare for Irvine! The house is assigned to Northwood Elementary, Sierra Vista Middle School, and Northwood High School. This property has only been on the market for 4 days and is priced to sell at $738,800.
The second property is in the same Northwood neighborhood in Irvine and has a pool in the backyard. Like the last house, this property also has no HOA fee or mello-roos and is assigned to Northwood Elementary, Sierra Vista Middle School, and Northwood High. It has recently been painted, has a new roof and carpets, and an updated kitchen. This property is priced at $739,900.
The third property was also in Northwood but in a different neighborhood. The house has been remodeled and has porcelain and marble flooring, granite counters, a kitchen island, new floors, new doors, and more! This house was priced at $635,000.
The fourth property was in the newer part of Westpark and was built in 1995 so it is a relatively newer home compared to the other homes I previewed. It was a very bright and well maintained home with large backyard and granite countertops. This house was prized at $649,000.
